I changed my views on abortion after having my own children. I would imagine that this is the case with many people.  I also started getting more involved with the Christian church which reinforced my belief that an infant in a mother's womb also deserves  rights.  Through reading the Bible it teaches in Jeremiah 1: 5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart."  So Christians know that God hands out souls to his children sooner than pro-choice supporters would like us to believe! Not to thump at you but it needs to be brought up.

          Its troubling to me that you can place your hand on a woman's belly and feel it kicking and moving around and have people fighting to prove this baby is not deserving of rights until it is removed from the mother's womb.  President Elect Obama ,while a senator, fought vigorously for pro-choice rights.  The most disturbing, in my opinion, is that if an aborted baby is still alive outside the womb, that the doctor has the right to kill it by any means possible. I believe this because no procedure  is stated! Maybe this happens more often then we know.  I know that it sounds like I'm bashing Obama, but these are his beliefs and history on this issue and we should know who we elected.

          President Elect Obama has also promised that one of his first deeds of office is to sign the Freedom of Choice Act "FOCA" which in short will eliminate most red tape so abortions will be much easier to have and restrictions on Partial Birth abortions. If you don't know what partial birth abortion is, click link above. I don't want to get graphic so  I won't get into it.  Let's just say it's disgusting and should be outlawed!  

          Did you know our Nation protects unborn eagle more vigorously than unborn humans? We punish people for destroying an eagle egg under 3 different laws.  The Migratory Bird Treaty Act (16 U.S.C 703), the Bald Eagle Protection Act (16 U.S.C. 668) and The Endangered Species Act (16 U.S.C. 1538 & 1540).  The penalties for breaking an egg range from $500 and 6 months in prison, to, $50,000 and 1 year in prison.  But yet it's open season on unborn humans! How is it that if a woman wants a baby it has rights but if she doesn't want a baby it is only a mass of tissue?  Since Roe v Wade in 1973 its predicted that over 40 million abortions have been performed by these so called doctors in the United States alone!

          If I get drunk and get a DUI because of my poor judgment than I know the consequence good or bad. I just don't say oops because I know better.  All men and women know how babies are conceived. There is no mystery.  We are responsible for our actions and should not try to bend laws because we don't want to be inconvenienced.  A baby is not a punishment and is not just a mass of tissue before birth.  I wonder if people would change their views if you could hear the mass of tissue's muffled screams during an abortion.  Would it sound more human? More viable?

          I think the day after or month after pill, whatever it is now, would make most pro-lifers happier and be a good middle ground. You can't tell me if you are raped you can't decide within a month to keep this baby? If mothers "LIFE" is in danger, yes I mean life, or has a great risk by having a baby then of course an abortion is needed.  But not because it's just too much to handle at this moment in your life, give me a break.  It's time to take responsibility for your actions like everyone else and not take an unborn life because of your self centeredness .

          We need to protect our children and teach them to cherish life not to destroy it.  Did you know that by law your 13 year old daughter can get an abortion on her own and the doctors don't  have to inform you?  Ironically the school nurse is not allowed to issue her an aspirin for a headache without parental consent and can't go on a field trip without parental consent etc. The list of absurdities get longer and longer. 

          Please help in the fight against these senseless and horrifying abortions.  Don't sit back and watch, join the battle for our  unborn children's rights. They are unable to stand for themselves. Next time you know a pregnant woman ask if you can feel the baby kick and ask yourself if it is alive or just tissue. Thanks for reading.
