Christians: God's Mythical Warriors

Is it just me or does anyone else have the feelings that Christianity has become just a convenience for many instead of a way of life. You may tell people “Church was just wonderful” and then carry on as if you had punched your time card for the week! “Yep I’m good for 7 more days”, appears to be the way it is for so many, so called, Christians. I admit I am a sinner and do not give God the time I should. That being said, even I can no longer stand on the sidelines and watch as my fellow believers ignore what is going on around us! Sin is forced upon us and our children daily and Gods warriors suddenly turn into cowards. Stand up for our beliefs? Does that sound so extreme? Of course not but Christians hide in the comfort of their living rooms and avoid dealing with what they know to be wrong! Did God remove the spine of the 21st century Christian? I think not, however one could argue due to the apparent lack of one. I’m not trying to attack Christians, I have something I would like to say. It’s time to “WAKE UP”, get off the couch and get your priorities straight!

Let’s start with the facts. Neither political party is doing God’s work. However, we can pick the candidate that best represents our beliefs. I admit the media puts on a great show, but the facts are there to see if you actually open your eyes. We just elected the most liberal President in history. For those unfamiliar with the term, “liberal”, I ask you to educate yourself. In my opinion it is a path to destruction; it tosses the Constitution of the U.S. to the curb and leads us towards something between Socialism, Communism and a Statist agenda. Both parties are on this road but we are now on the fast track. Christians need to start looking at the issues and educate themselves on which party is championing those issues. There are some good Democrats and Republicans but when someone describes themselves as a Liberal or a Progressive, run! These are those candidates who lie, yes lie, to push their agenda. Politicians lie but most are not as harmful as those of the Statists. It all sounds good but like all liars, the truth eventually comes out. Many people never allow the truth in, which is why we are where we are today.

I know what you’re thinking, what lies? Glad you asked. The lie that they are for the people! Proof is that they are out for power and without people in poverty and creating hatred towards those who succeed they would never get elected. I know this from history. Welfare, HUD, Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security are just a few of the entitlement programs that the Statists have pushed to create their voting base or "slavery state" as I call it. It is actually joked about by Government employees as being a “3 Step Program”. Don't get married, don't get a better job and don't save any money are the guarantees that these programs promise. Generations of families are in Welfare, it has become a way of life. Many States have a 2-3 year waiting list. Do you think these people wait? Yes they do! To pay for this we are told by the Liberals that it’s Patriotic or it’s our debt to society. Let me just say besides un-Constitutional, it’s immoral! Not only immoral to force us to pay for it but immoral to trap these people into a system where success is not an outcome. Every agenda the Progressives push sounds good and when our freedoms are eventually gone, it's too late. I just heard that the Massachusetts Governor wants to give Welfare recipients cars, insurance and AAA! Let me see I get a car, I get a house, my utilities get paid, free cable TV and I get free Medicare. Sound about right? Is this slavery? "Just vote for me and all your dreams will come true!"

Refusing to control our borders and burdening the American people with the bill is probably the most irresponsible thing I have seen. Are Christians and other Americans now responsible to become the Welfare State of a Foreign Nation? They throw around the word racist and have people afraid to say they want border control. They will fight harder for the rights of Homosexuals, Atheists and those who break our Countries Laws, then they will ever lift a finger to help Christians, however they all "claim" to be Christians. Look at their VOTING! The people of the U.S. have voted against gay marriage time and time again yet the Liberals and Progressives now are using courts to legalize it, while ignoring the people! They talk of Fairness not Morals. Global Warming is another hoax to pass an agenda in order to create the world they want and punish those who succeed to pay for it. I have heard there is now over 30,000 scientists and the founder of The Weather Channel trying to bring a lawsuit against Al Gore. Many reasons for his but the basic problem with their science is the Hypothesis. Hypothesis have to be able to be proven wrong. When they say Global Warming causes both: global warming and global cooling it is no longer science. It’s impossible to have an outcome not caused by Global Warming according to Al Gore! Science 101 teaches us that this is garbage science. Watch for the new keywords, "Clean" and "Dirty" energy and jobs. I am all for being energy efficient and taking care of our environment but this is not their goal. Just another tax to fund their never ending debt on society.

So how is it possible that we just elected a President who was the voice of argument fighting against a bill in Illinois that would protect a baby born alive after a failed abortion? The Bill prevented the Doctor from killing the baby after the procedure, if it was still alive. He voted 2 times against it! Is infanticide the change Christians wanted? Is wanting open borders and 40% larger welfare state the change Christians wanted? Is giving the United Nations ruling authority over the Christian family, banning all spanking the change Christians wanted? Is raising taxes on charitable donations the change Christians wanted? Is banning all Christian holiday greetings at Government agencies the change Christians wanted? Is having an Atheist sign next to Nativity Scenes the change Christians wanted? Is having Atheist, Wicken and Homosexual groups in schools "FAIR", but if a teacher prays with a student she gets fired, the change Christians wanted?

Did Christians see the Miss America Pageant where a young woman states her beliefs on marriage and is still being attacked by the media and others? Christians should be protesting in the streets over the media coverage of this poor girl! Or how about boycotting any Theatre who showed the movie "Religulous!" Did you see the child abuse case in Washington DC where a child complained about having to go to Church 2 to 3 times a week? The teacher reported it as child abuse and authorities took the child from the family. The case went to trial and the Judge decided that in order for the parents to regain custody they had to agree to take the boy to Church only once a week. Is there anyone "AWAKE" out there? Are your "EYES OPEN"! Is this, the change people wanted? Once gay marriage is forced on us, it won’t be long until they protest and picket to force schools to add gay marriage as a "normal family" to text books, in the name of FAIRNESS! We can’t have the gay population feeling disenfranchised in by our educational system! The Liberals passed a hate crime Bill making it so that any crime against Homosexuals has a more severe sentence! Are not all crimes hateful? How long will it be before Churches are protested for being prejudice about not marrying gays? Or will Christians continue to be characterized as haters and un-American for not openly admitting that the Bible is wrong? Which party is it that pushes this agenda? Need I tell you? Where are the warriors, God’s warriors? We know the Progressives and Liberals are the Champions of every attack on Christianity. Time for Christians to WAKE UP!

So what do we do to stop it? Republicans and Democrats are not the issue. Many people look to the conservatives but in my opinion it may be too late to have Political religious warriors. The media have made them into hate mongers because of Religion. We know that the goal of the Liberal, Progressive and Statists is power and creating a Utopia is a road to sin and corruption. I have my own Hypothesis: all mankind are sinners and therefore a so called Heaven on Earth can only be accomplished by God, not by man. In order to protect our values as Christians and be able to live in a world where we have the right to life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and freedom of Religion we need Capitalism. Where Government does not influence or control business leading to corruption. Our economic problem today was also caused by the so called good intentions of our Government. Let failures fail and unleash success. Educate yourself on the Community Reinvestment Act and Sub Prime Mortgages, created by our Government. The only way for that is to return to our Constitution and require our Government to do their job as Law Enforcers, not Law Makers and return them to the job of protecting our inalienable rights and protecting our nation from foreign and domestic evils. We need to demand a flat tax so there is no more class warfare and everyone is treated as equals. Our schools should only contain text book teachings and not indoctrination of Religion or any other agenda, such as global warming or that Homosexuality is genetic etc. Remember, we also have to respect those who are not believers.

I hope I am not alone. We need to find those politicians who are ready to fight for the people. Whether they are Democrat, Republican, Libertarian Conservative, Constitutionalists or Independents, Christians need to unite under a common goal. That goal is to find those who are willing to fight to return our country to the road which was paved by our founding fathers and unite to get them elected. We need to start looking at voting history and actions. If the choices are questionable then I recommend Congressional Term Limits or vote out incumbents, until we get the right leader working for the people, not for themselves. This will also help with the obvious corruption problems in our government by limiting their time in office. We need to start getting more involved in our schools and local communities not just as a Church but let our voice on important policies be heard. It’s time to hold to your faith; Jesus was the most extreme activist that I know. What would he be doing? I believe he would be voicing his opinion and would not be hiding somewhere hoping for change! This is a call to arms, to all my brothers in Christ, it’s time to wake up and fight. We have a voice! Remember these words, "Blessed is the Nation Whose God is the Lord" (Psalm 33:12)
